First Things First

As my adventure into blogging begins we'll go over some things about me.  Here's a list of 25 things things that make me, well me.  And by no means is this an all inclusive list......

#25. My favorite color is purple, well some times it's pink, and some times it blue, but usually in the fall it's orange...ok so I don't really have a favorite color, it just depends on the day.

#24.  I'm a sucker for celebrity gossi (things like perezhilton.com and tmz.com) but I get annoyed that paparazzi won't level celebrities alone.

#23.  When I was in 6th grade I had a calf named "Elvis" in the dairy show...all the cool kids did it.

#22.  I'm the daughter of a high school football coach.  I understand the difference between "offsides" and "false start" and can tell you the call before the ref does.

#21.  I love romantic comedy movies and I'm convinced that movies like "Pretty Woman", "Love Actually" and "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" are very realistic and could happen to anyone.  But my favorite movie is "Remember the Titans".

#20.  I drink sweet tea, real sweet tea, it doesn't come in a can, it's brewed with lots of sugar added.  No lemon.

#19.  I'm convinced that my nephew will win the Heisman Trophy one day.

#18.  I'm a proud graduate of the University of Tennessee and a proud native of Blacksburg, Virginia, home of the Virginia Tech Hokies....don't make me decided between the two.

#17.  I was a state "All-Star" in soccer my senior year...and I haven't played since.

#16.  Peyton Manning and my dad are my heros.   

#15.  My favorite foods include (but aren't limited to): Waffle House Hashbrowns (scattered, smothered and covered) and cupcakes from Cake Love. 

#14.  If my life were made into a movie I would want Reese Witherspoon or Kate Hudson to play the part of me.

#13.  I like to sing along to music when I'm in my car...but most of the time I don't know the words.

#12.  I hate sand.

#11.  I'm the youngest of 3 girls in my family.   My two sisters are 11 and 14 years older than me, I'm definitely the "baby" of the family.

#10.  There's no place else in the world I would rather be than on Lake Oconee in Georgia with my friends.

#9.  Sometimes when I start drinking my southern accent comes out.

#8.  I watch the Today Show every morning and I think Al Roker is the funniest weather man ever.

#7.  I have a gym membership but rarely go.

#6.  I drive past the Arlington Cemetery and the Vietnam Wall everyday to work and realize how lucky I am and all the things I have to be thankful for.

#5.  I like to make fun of my mom for keeping all that old "crap" around the house, but I'm glad she still has my 6th grade art project hanging up in the sun room.

#4.  I once bought tennis skirts off Ebay with the intention of learning how to play the game.  I've worn those skirts probably about 3 times in 3 years.

#3.  The friends I made in elementary and middle school are still my best friends and I talk to them on a weekly, almost daily, basis. 

#2.  I think Angelina Jolie is creepy and wonder how long it will take her to save the world one adoption at a time.

#1.  I think trust and loyalty are 2 of the most important aspects of any relationship.
